An Indian Army Colonel, a Major and a police official have lost their lives in an encounter that broke out between security forces and terrorists in Anantnag district of UT of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
The 3 brave hearts Colonel Manpreet Singh & Major Ashish Dhonack of 19RR and JK Police Deputy SP Humayun Bhat Were part of the Cordon operation against Terrorists hiding in Kokernag Area of Anantnag district.
As per the reports, the bodies of the Army Officers were recovered from the encounter site. The terrorists who were hiding in a hut when the search party reached the spot, attacked the officers and their escort based on a tip from sources.
The Commanding Officer (CO), company commander, and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) planned the operation meticulously, catching the terrorists by surprise as they approached the hideout from a hidden and difficult route. The terrorists resorted to indiscriminate firing, killing the three brave officers. The terrain is extremely steep, making it a dangerous operation. The terrorists are still trapped, and an operation is ongoing to neutralize them.
Uzair Khan one of the 2 terrorists of LeT has been an active terrorist of Let since July 2022. the Kashmir Zone Police said in a post on X.
While more inputs are awaited, there is hardly any Doubt that these are Pakistan sponsored terrorists. With Its economy on Ventilator, Civil war looming over its head all across Pakistan and it’s Army getting thrashed by the so called “Bad Taliban” – TTP in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, they are trying to provoke India with a hope that a conflict against Kafir Hindu state of Bharat will somehow unite its population in favour of Pak Army.
The situation aggravates further for Pakistan as India showcased it’s stake as an emerging Superpower in the recently concluded G20 Summit in Delhi, which was deemed a big success by all the world leaders. Earlier a G20 Delegation also visited Srinagar in Kashmir, which is showing great signs of turnaround with the youth proudly raising Tricolor 🇮🇳 all across the once Islamic terror infested region. On the other hand, protests are happening all across PoJK against Pakistan state against the exploitation and Human rights violations by Pak Army.
As the news about Martyred Soldiers broke in Social Media Platform X (Formerly Twitter), the reactions started pouring in expressing anger towards Pakistan which has been sponsoring terrorist activities against Bharat, ever since it was carved out of Bharat in Aug 1947. X handle @AstroCouncelkk who is a prominent Astrologer expressed his grief with a warning predicting a tough period for Indian National security during next 3 to 4 months.
The general sentiment is that Pakistan must be punished, but while that happens, all trade and sporting relations must be terminated against Pakistan with immediate effect.
It will be interesting to see how BCCI deals with this considering the ongoing Asia Cup and upcoming Cricket World Cup to be hosted by India.
